I'm remembering several TV shows and blog posts I've read recently about time travel.
There was a recent episode of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura on the possibility that chrononauts are abusing their knowledge of the future to gain power in the present.
Star Trek Voyager Season 3 Episode 21 - "Before and After"
Kes begins living her life backwards for only hours at a time, with large gaps in the experience spanning anywhere from one day to three years. I don't want to spoil the surprise so I'll just make a short comment: this episode artfully demonstrates some of the ways that time travel could impact the lives of those involved. I was particularly intrigued by the use of a "temporal shift" technology to penetrate Voyager's shielding with torpedoes.
